Great jam @ the Huber banjo booth this past year.
Here’s an HD-quality video of Mountain Heart w/ Tony Rice and Cory Walker on banjo. Fantastic music here. Very cool intro also with the guys tuning up and getting ready to go on stage to do one of the Bluegrass Album Band’s most requested songs.
No seriously, you have to watch it. Just when I think I can’t take anymore, they begin “rapping”. If there’s ever a “cult-classic” band in bluegrass, I would say this is it. Enjoy
Here, the same band as in yesterday’s earlier post, they are doing “John Henry Blues”. This was a great jam.
Patton Wages, Georgia banjo extraordinaire, flat burns “Jesse James”. These guys get some great groove in this tune. Great picking.
Every now and then you catch a killer jam. This is one of those. These guys get some great groove.
